The tool asks for the stack, the same way the Nginx configurator does, and returns docker-compose plus .dockerignore for that stack. Next.js and Django get different ports inside the container and different ignore lists.
Next.js
The host port is published to 3000 inside the container. .dockerignore lists node_modules, .next, and .env, so the image does not pick up machine dependencies or a local build.
Django
The same host port maps to 8000, and the container command is Gunicorn. The ignore file lists __pycache__, .venv, and db.sqlite3 instead of .next.
ports:
- "127.0.0.1:3000:8000"
command: ["gunicorn", "--bind", "0.0.0.0:8000", "core.wsgi:application"]The number on the left should match the Nginx upstream for this domain. The tool still generates those two files. This note only explains why there are two stacks.
